Below are two different flavours that I made. Keep the method the same and the yogurt is a given but by changing just one ingredient, the possibilities for flavours are endless and I would love to hear what different creations you come up with.
Peanut butter ice-cream;
Greek yogurt and peanut butter
Tangy lime ice-cream;
Greek yogurt and fresh lime juice
For this recipe, I used plastic ice lolly holders. However, this can just as easily be done with any plastic container that you have in your press.
The amount of Greek yogurt you need will depend on the size of your container.
For my ice-creams I used 100g of yogurt for each.
Lime flavour: Slice your lime in half and squeeze both halves in to a bowl. Combine with 100g of Greek yogurt. Transfer in to a plastic container and leave in the freezer for 2 hours to set.
Peanut butter flavour: Add 1 tbsp of natural peanut butter to a bowl. Pour in 100g of Greek yogurt and mix well to endure they are fully combined. Transfer to a plastic container and leave in the freezer for 2 hours to set.
When your ice-cream is set, remove from the freezer and allow 5-10minutes for it to thaw. Alternatively you could run your sealed container under a hit tap for 30 seconds.
