- 400g lean steak mince
- 1 red onion
- 1 sweet red pepper
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup jalapeños
- 50g feta cheese
- handful spinach leaves
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp chilli powder
Method:
- In a bowl, crack and whisk your egg and to this add the paprika and chilli.
- Chop the red onion and jalapeños in to small pieces.
- Taking handfuls of the mince, combine with the chopped vegetables and mould in to burger shapes. Dunk and coat in the egg mix to combine and leave to one side while your prepare the rest of your burgers.
- When all of your burgers are ready, melt some oil in the man.
- Cut the feta cheese in to cubes and stuff a cube in to each burger. Be sure to remould your burger afterwards to ensure they stay together.
- Fry the burgers on the pan till fully cooked on both sides.
- Serve as a burger in a bowl to enjoy as a low-carb option.
